Topic 1: How do I download chapters on Connect
Information 1: To download a chapter, you must be logged into your Connect account (https://connect.springerpub.com/).
- Go to ""My Account"" and then ""My Content"".
- Click on the title and then a chapter.
- At the chapter level, you will see a ""Download PDF"" button.
Our Connect website allows each chapter to be downloaded individually.
We don’t allow the downloading of the entire book in one PDF for three reasons:
- To prevent easy pirating of the book
- To allow us to sell chapters individually
- Downloading such large files would slow down the website

Topic 5: How do I use an eReader with Connect?
Information 5: The only way to read the content on another eReader is to download each chapter PDF and upload those PDFs to your eReader.

Topic 6: Why can't I find the Index in my Connect title?
Information 6: Unfortunately, we do not list the index on our Connect platform. Under "Contents" use the "Search within this book" search bar the same way you would an index.
Topic 7: Can I buy multiple chapters on Connect?
Information 7: Currently we can't offer chapters as a bundle (i.e. a single click way for students to purchase).
The options are as follows:
If the student is paying by Credit Card:
- student adds each chapter to their shopping cart individually and purchases
- we can give them a discount code so the get a percentage off if they buy all the chapter
If the school is paying by PO:
- create a code they can redeem that gives them access to the chapters
Topic 8: How do I Navigate Exam Prep Using a Keyboard?
Information 8: Here are some tips on how you can navigate your test using the keyboard.
Lessons & Flashcards
- Use the left and right arrow keys to easily scroll between lessons or flashcards.
Practice Questions/Exams
- Use the letters on the keyboard (A, B, C, etc) to select question answer choices.
- Use the enter key to confirm and submit your answer.
- Use the left and right arrow keys to scroll between questions during review.
Topic 9: How do I find Exam Prep Book Content?
Information 9: On Exam Prep, you can find the book content by clicking "Lessons" on the left of your screen. Once selected, the chapter breakdown will appear.
Topic 10: I'm having a login issue with my password.
Information 10: Sometimes multiple passwords get saved in your browser for the same website. We suggest clearing the passwords.
Below are instructions on how to clear individual passwords for different browsers.
Mozilla Firefox
- 1. Open a Firefox window.
- 2. Click on the menu option in the top right corner, then click “Options”.
- 3. Select the Privacy and Security tab.
- 4. Go to Saved Logins under Forms and Passwords.
- 5. Go to the Saved Logins screen (see instructions above).
- 6. Select the website in the list on the left, then click “Remove”.
- 7. Click the red “Remove” button.
Google Chrome
- 1. Open a Chrome Window.
- 2. Click on the three dots on the top right corner. Select Settings.
- 3. Select Passwords. Here you’ll see a number of saved passwords for various websites.
- 4. To delete an individual password, click on the three dots next to it and select Remove.
- If you don’t want Chrome to remember passwords anymore, toggle off the switch that says “Offer to Save Passwords” under Passwords.
Apple Safari
- 1. Open a Safari window.
- 2. Click on Safari in the menu bar and select Preferences.
- 3. Go to the Passwords tab.
- 4. You’ll see a number of saved passwords. Select the password you want to remove and click on Remove.
MS Edge
- 1. Open an Edge window.
- 2. Click on Settings and More.
- 3. Select Settings and go to Privacy and Security.
- 4. Under Clear Browsing Data, select Choose What to Clear.
- 5. Select Passwords and click on Clear.
