Topic 5: How do I report the URL in my book is not working
Information 5: We apologize for the incovinence. Please provide the title and ISBN of the book you are having an issue with so we can give you the correct URL.
Topic 6: Can I download an entire book on Connect?
Information 6: Our Connect website allows each chapter to be downloaded individually. We don’t allow the downloading of the entire book in one PDF for three reasons:
- To prevent easy pirating of the book
- To allow us to sell chapters individually
- Downloading such large files would slow down the website
Topic 7: Why can't I Download Front Matter on connect?
Information 7: We don’t allow the front matter to be downloaded as a PDF mainly because we provide it for free and most people don’t download it. We also don’t allow the table of contents to be downloaded as a PDF because occasionally the e-version is a little different from the print version. You can choose “print” from your browser and it will print out all of the front matter in nicely formatted pages.
Topic 8: How Do I access Instructor Resources?
Information 8: If you are an instructor you can access Instructor Resources by contacting us directly. If you have a print book please redeem the code inside your book and let us know when you have done so. We need to update your account to include the instructor resources.
Topic 9: I'm having trouble redeeming a code on Connect?
Information 9: If you’ve already created and verified your account, then
- Go to: connect.springerpub.com
- Go to “My Account” in the upper right corner of the screen, Login if you are not already
- Select “Log Out”
- In the pop-up, choose “Enter a Voucher”
- Enter voucher code you were provided or listed in the book
- Go to “My Account”, Select “My Content” and you will see the title(s) you have access to.
If you see an error from SAMS SIGMA, try clearing your cookies and if that doesn’t work, try another browser.

Topic 10: How do I place an tax exempt order?
Information 10: Unfortunately, our site can not accommodate processing orders without tax for tax-exempt customers. You will need to place your order and email us at cs@springerpub.com with a copy of your tax-exempt form and once your order is processed, we will issue you a refund for the sales tax charged.
