Job Opening: Product Marketing Manager

As a Marketing Manager you’ll work both independently and collaboratively, lending your experience to the strategic and executional excellence of a wide range of creative, multi-channel campaigns.

What you’ll do

  • Translate strategic vision into engaging multi-channel campaigns to the right audience at the right time.
  • Manage the development, design, and production of promotional materials for B2B and B2C efforts that focus on our remarkable customers, top-notch authors, and unparalleled products.
  • Implement email campaigns, including dynamic and automated programs.
  • Utilize testing strategies to identify best practices for creating relationships, generating leads, and driving revenue.
  • Initiate opt-in campaigns to grow customer reach and nurturing campaigns for existing customers using creative copy, content, images, infographics, audio and video.
  • Get to the heart of our customers through online research, surveys, focus groups, and workshops.
  • Obtain books reviews, blogs, shares, and other word-of-mouth for key products.
  • Report on campaign performance. Analyze results and modify activities to maximize time/budget.
  • Work collaboratively with various internal and external teams with clear communication and the ability to present project results.
  • Constantly strive to achieve individual, team, and company goals AND participate in activities throughout the year for your own professional growth.

Skills for success

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher followed by 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the medical or publishing field.
  • Ability to execute projects independently when provided general direction. Excellent organizational, prioritization, multitasking, and time management skills are imperative.
  • Proven success in email marketing including strategic planning, execution, deployment, testing, and reporting. Marketo experience is a plus.
  • Experience in direct-to-consumer and business-to-business marketing including CRM involvement. Salesforce a plus.
  • Knowledge of social media, content, and online marketing and a basic knowledge of graphic design in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
  • Enthusiasm for both independent and collaborative projects with minimal supervision and ability to thrive in a small team environment.
  • Willingness to travel for conferences and customer engagements, about 20%.
