Job Opening: Financial Analyst

We are seeking an analytical and experienced Financial Analyst to help provide insight and information to guide decisions as we continue to strive to grow our business.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, this position offers a unique opportunity to gain an understanding of all aspects of the business, interacting with all functional areas, exposure to senior management and advancement through increased responsibility. The individual will provide essential reporting and analytical support for the overall financials for the Company with a focus on providing a complete financial picture of the business. Utilize system and partner data to draw insight from analysis and present data in a clear and succinct format for use by senior management and department heads. The data collection effort includes keeping an awareness and understanding of the integrity of the product and customer information driving the analysis.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide reporting and analysis of sales and expense results.
- Compile and analyze data to support sales and expense forecasts and identify trends causing variances.
- Analyze current reporting processes, recommend methods for improvement, and implement changes.
- Inventory reporting, analysis & management.
- Provide analytical support for new business initiatives.
- Prepare presentations for Key Account Strategy reviews.
- Identify gaps in process or financial risks and provide recommendations for minimizing such risks.
- Conduct regular review of sales processes and providing input on how they may be improved or streamlined.
- Managing various projects and ad-hoc requests
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2 years of business analytics experience
- Highly proficient / expert in Microsoft Excel (i.e. vlookups, arrays, macros, pivots, etc.)
- Familiarity with business intelligence systems (i.e. Acumen, Business Objects, PowerBi, Tableau, Cognos, etc.) a plus
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels within a company.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Physical Requirements
- This position may require travel of about 10%.
