Authors

Sofia Georgiadou, PhD, LMFT-S, LPC-S, NCC, is a systemic therapist, educator, clinical supervisor, and scholar whose work centers on marriage and family therapy education, trauma-informed care, culturally responsive teaching, clinical supervision, and the integration of artificial intelligence in behavioral health. She is an associate professor in the online MFT/PCC Master’s programs at UMass Global and has taught graduate courses in trauma, systemic family therapy theories, postmodern family therapy, psychopathology, practicum, internship, cross-cultural family therapy, family assessment, ethics, and clinical practice across several universities.

Maxine Notice, PhD, LMFT, LCMHC, NCC, is a marriage and family therapist, researcher, educator, and supervisor. She is a core faculty member at Abilene Christian University-Dallas in their Master of Marriage and Family Therapy program. As an academic, Dr. Maxine has remained steeped in the world of systemic research, and has a variety of journal publications, book chapters, reviews, and presentations. She is licensed across the states of Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, and New York. In her role as an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, she offers clinical insight and training to students, and post graduate clinicians.
