Our Commitment

Our eBooks
Springer Publishing produce current publications in EPUB3 format, which includes:
- Navigational and structural tagging
- Defined reading order
- Compatibility with screen readers, text-to-speech, and magnification tools
Accessibility support may vary depending on the reading platform used by third-party retail partners.
Alternate Format Text
We provide accessible copies of our publications at no additional cost to qualified students, provided proof of purchase or rental is supplied.
We participate in the AccessText Network (ATN). Disability service providers in the U.S. and Canada are encouraged to submit requests through ATN for the fastest service. To contact AccessText, please email info@accesstext.org.

Student and Instructor Materials
Springer Publishing aims to make all student-facing materials (including presentations, activities, and assessments) accessible. Accessibility for instructor materials continues to improve as new resources are developed.
Audio and Video Content
We aim to provide:
- Closed captions for all educational videos
- Transcripts for audio and video content
If transcripts are not available, they can be provided upon request.
Known Limitations
While Springer Publishing strives to ensure accessibility across all content, some materials may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards. We are actively working to improve accessibility as part of our ongoing efforts.
