Springer Publishing is excited to be exhibiting at the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists' (NACNS) 2016 Annual Conference in Philadelphia this weekend!
From Thursday, March 3rd through Saturday, March 5th, NACNS will host several informative workshops, discussion sessions, and keynote speeches as a means of exploring and addressing the future developments and practice challenges of clinical nurse specialists.
The conference is being held at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel so if you have a break between sessions or a free evening and you feel like getting a taste of Philadelphia's food scene, here are two areas (Reading Terminal Market and Chinatown) that promise delicious food (cheesesteaks included!), all in walking distance from the conference!
Reading Terminal Market
Miller's Twist: Grab a pretzel and smokey cheesers at this foodie haven, known for their signature soft pretzels and pretzel roll-ups.
The Rib Stand: Indulge in a rib sandwich with a side of mac n' cheese or some potato wedges for a solid helping of comfort food.
DiNic's: If you can handle the line, come here to order the famous pork sandwich that won the Travel Channel's "Best Sandwich in America."
Pho Xe Lua: While not the flashiest of the hoards of Vietnamese restaurants that define Philly's Chinatown neighborhood, this authentic spot boasts some of the tastiest Pho in the city.
Vietnam: Come here to enjoy a wide menu of authentic Vietnamese dishes in a more elegant, laid-back atmosphere.
Cheesesteaks, Cheesesteaks, Cheesesteaks
While Philly boasts a seemingly unlimited number of delicious spots to grab this signature sandwich, Spataro's and Jim's are great choices for an authentic Philly cheesesteak experience and they're only a short walk from the Loews hotel.
Wishing everyone a great conference weekend!
