Dr. Chad Boult is the Eugene and Mildred Lipitz Professor of Health Policy & Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He directs the Roger C. Lipitz Center for Integrated Health Care and holds joint appointments on the faculties of the Johns Hopkins University Schools of Medicine and Nursing. A geriatrician for 20 years, he has extensive experience in developing, testing, evaluating, and diffusing new models of health care for older adults. Dr. Jean Giddens is a professor and coordinator for the Masters in Nursing Education program at the College of Nursing, University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. A nurse educator for 25 years, she has taught nursing in associate, baccalaureate, master and doctoral programs. Her expertise is curriculum development and online learning applications. She has been involved with Guided Care as a nursing consultant since 2005. Katherine Frey is a research associate in the Department of Health Policy & Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. As a project director for eight years, she has extensive experience coordinating and managing large research studies. She also has rich experience in planning and delivering training programs for educating professionals. Lisa Reider is a research associate in the Department of Health Policy & Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She has five years of experience coordinating aging-focused research studies at Johns Hopkins University, with expertise in managing and analyzing large data sets. She is currently the project director for the Guided Care study. Tracy Novak is a research associate in the Department of Health Policy & Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. As a health policy professional, her experience focuses on developing and implementing diffusion strategies, and organizing grassroots advocacy campaigns to build effective lobbying platforms. She has been an advocate on end-of-life issues and has testified before the Maryland House of Delegates in support of advance directives legislation. Her current work involves communicating information about Guided Care to relevant stakeholders and supporting its adoption in the American health care system. |
