Job Opening: Marketing Coordinator

Description and Responsibilities:

Seeking a motivated marketing professional to support our Behavioral Sciences portfolios, driving revenue for award winning publications in the professional and educational markets. The Marketing Coordinator position offers a unique opportunity for an eager, out-of-the-box thinker with a passion for both creative and analytical assignments.

 

This role is primarily responsible for tasks including but not limited to:

  • Implementing multi-channel campaigns via email, social media, advertising, conferences, press relations, and other available outlets, while offering new and fresh ideas for outreach
  • Executing customer understanding efforts through online research, surveys, focus groups, and workshops
  • Leading efforts to obtain book reviews and word-of-mouth marketing
  • Achieving customer list building goals to improve reach in various segments and regularly engaging and nurturing contacts with relevant content in various forms
  • Assisting with the development, design, and production of promotional materials for marketing, author relations and sales support
  • Test, measure, and report upon performance to continually grow and refine strategies for the achievement of individual, team and company goals
  • Assume responsibility for planning and managing particular publishing programs and/or customer segments as applicable and demonstrated

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum degree required: Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent work experience
  • One to three years of marketing experience, preferably in the medical or publishing field
  • Willingness to travel for conferences and customer engagements, about 25%
  • Experience with Marketo and Adobe design suite a plus
